This is our preferred means of transportation here at Briar's Creek.
I suspect that every homeowner will ultimately have some type of golf cart to be able to traverse the community.

As we were coming onto the property this morning, I had to wait for about a dozen beautiful wild turkeys to get out of the road.
One of our other street is named Wild Turkey Way, and we've seen as many as 40 wild turkeys on that street.
They have pretty much spread out across the entire property now.
We have a good deer population, we have a phenomenal family of eagles, osprey, fox, otters, bobcats, all indicative of us not disturbing nature and not disturbing their realm here.
Here in our newest release, it's called Gnarled Oak, and as we look around us we have a coveted number of large oaks, some spectacular specimens.
It's estimated we have 1500 grand oaks on the property and a dozen of the best ones are right in this new release of ours.

As you go through the community, there's a number of themes that we have going.
One is the nature and trying not to disturb our canopy of trees.
Another is the ability to have the fronts of these lots enter through a long drive to the homesites.
I picture peoples favorites shrubs, their favorite flowers, their garden themes out at the road.
Then entering through the canopy back the lake on one side and then back to ponds on the other.
The diversity of real estate at Briar's Creek includes a select few water lots, a few with long marsh views, some lots that avail us to club cottages for members and their guests.
And probably the most exciting - our lakefront lots.
And Gnarled Oaks is the latest release in those lakefront lots.

"Wow, look at that"
Water is somewhat of a theme here at Briars Creek.
Real estate is important, but it's not something that we wanted to impact our gulf community with.
So, we have created a 53-acre lake that allows us to create homesites to creates a water habitat. It is stocked with bass, and it's been so successful that we have been told that this could be a professional bass fishing lake. You can indeed throw a line in and catch a bass 7 out of 10 casts. Great for grandchildren!
We have an opportunity here at Briar's Creek to kind of set a standard for development in the entire region. In this day and age overdevelopment and small lots and urban sprawl.
We have created a spot that will allow us to have on average one lot per six or seven acres.
