Please check in at the Pro Shop when you come on the property. We encourage all guests to bring their golf shoes and any change of clothes to the locker room in the same building as the Pro Shop. A guest locker is available. Please do not change shoes in the parking lot.
Our dress code is club casual. No denim jeans, cargo shorts, cargo pants, or short shorts. Men must have collars on their shirts and shirts must be tucked in. Men should take their hats off in the Clubhouse at all times. Women may wear hats. At dinner, men may wear a jacket. Ties are not required.
Cell phones have become an integral part of our lives ... both positive and negative. Our cell phone policy is straightforward:
Once you are on the club premises, put your cell phone in vibrate or silent status. If you receive or need to make a call, move to a cell phone designated area (phone booth on first floor of Clubhouse or Clubhouse porches) or to an area where fellow members and guests will not be disturbed by your use of your cell phone.
Tipping is not permitted at The Golf Club at Briar's Creek.
The use of golf carts is mandatory when posted.
Golf carts shall not be used by a member or guest on the Club Facilities without proper assignment and registration in the pro shop.
Always use golf cart paths where provided.
Be careful to avoid soft areas on fairways, especially after rains. Use roughs whenever possible.
Never drive a golf cart through a hazard.
Golf carts should not be parked near the perimeters of putting greens.
In the case of inclement weather, we have a state of the art lightning detection system on the course. If lightning is detected in the area, you will hear one long blast, which means seek shelter immediately preferably the clubhouse. Once we have determined it is all clear you will hear three short burts. The Pro Shop will make the final determination if it is safe to play.
